The training is based on the levels of the Double Healix framework and the MovieLearning method.
Practical information
Managers, (interim) managers, organizational consultants, training consultants, HR managers and directors, leadership trainers. With at least three years of relevant working experience.
Participants usually come from a variety of industries and professional groups. What binds them is the theme of leadership: from the development of personal leadership to the meaning of leadership in relation to the transition to a sustainable society.
There is no specific prior knowledge required for this training.
Learning activities
- Starting point is learning with fun and inspiration.
- We have developed the MovieLearning method. Upcycling of Leadership is a training in which a large number of the best and most inspiring leadership scenes from top movies and documentaries are used, both during the live training and in the online courses.
- The movieclips portraying human development and inspiring leadership are applied within the narrative context of the Double Healix Model for Leadership. This model is built on the structure of the mythical Hero’s Journey, but it also shows how each phase in this journey manifests itself at increasingly higher levels of human development.
- You will master the most important concepts and practicalities of leadership and vision development in a playful manner.
- Together with the other participants you discuss and apply the theoretical concepts to your daily professional challenges.
Training goals
- You deepen your knowledge and insight in the theory and practice of leadership at all levels by means of a narratively coherent model: the Double Healix model. You are able to make cross connections with other leadership models.
- You gain insight into the connection between your personal needs, your values, your personal characteristics, your competencies, leadership style and your vision for society.
- You have more insight into and understanding of your own life story.
- You investigate which direction suits you in light of what the world is asking of you now. You develop a coherent vision on leadership, using the Double Healix model as a meta-framework.
- You deepen your knowledge of humankind and your emotional and spiritual intelligence.
- You strengthen your sustainable, strategic and visionary thinking and actions.
- You have insight into creative tensionfields and paradoxes. You develop your own ideas for sustainability and the ecology of meaning.

Times
A training day starts at 9:30 am (walk-in from 9:00 am) and ends around 5:00 pm.
Programme
For each day, one or two levels of development of the Double Healix model will be discussed:
– the mythical underlay of our consciousness;
– the basic human needs and development of identity
– strengthening competences;
– relationship and team building;
– influence at the level of organisation and society
The model and the development levels offer thus a structure for key knowledge about leadership.
Recurring elements when exploring the levels of development are watching and analysing film clips and carrying out exercises that allow you to better connect the lessons to your own life and work.
Plan some time between class days for pre-work.
– The training consisting of 5 training days (every other week or once a month).
– Several handouts.
– Access to two extensive MovieLearning courses:
1) Personal Leadership, and
2) Ladies in the Lead: Learning from female leaders.
– Coffee, tea, juice and snacks will be provided. Lunches are not included in the price. There are several lunch venues and shops in the vicinity of our company. Of course, you can also bring your own lunch and have it here.
The price of the course is €2275 per person excluding 21% VAT.
The course fee must be transferred before the start of the course.
The meetings cannot be attended separately.
