Team development

A team functions optimally when team members can match their unique contribution to the stage the team is in. Our Triple-T team development training helps your team achieve greater synergy and zest for life.

Triple-T Team development

Team phases

A team’s journey consists of several phases. Double Healix builds on the theory of Bruce Tuckman. In the Double Healix Model, however, the team journey doesn’t end at performing. It will go through deep crises and eventually find its deepest meaning.
The twelve phase of the Double Healix model for team development are: forming, storming, norming, informing, performing, celebrating, formalizing, blown away, mourning, regrouping, transforming and serving to enrich the world.

Team roles

At a Double Healix team training, each team member completes a short questionnaire so that everyone has a Team Role Profile. During the training, these are superimposed on each other to gain insight into the complete Team Profile.

Where are the team’s strengths and where is something, or someone, still missing? How can we explain existing tensions in the team? And what adjustments are needed to improve cooperation and results?

Team leadership

The formal leader of a team has long since ceased to be the only one in charge. Instead, a good leader listens to all team members, letting everyone contribute at the right time. How do you achieve a team dynamic that supports the best of each group member and makes the team a solid whole?

The methodology

Diversity

Team performance often improves if the diversity in the team is used as productively as possible. That is why it is important to know who excels in which areas, team members giving each other room to experiment with new roles. The paradox is that if team members have more space to be themselves, they will often want to develop themselves further and improve the cooperation even more.

Teamwork

Collaboration is often the best key to meaningful team performance. What are the best conditions for your team? Sometimes cooperation benefits from a healthy degree of internal competition, sometimes it does not. Where do you draw the line between cooperation and competition?
