Peggy Grefkens

Peggy is a clinical psychologist and she has worked in the healthcare department for a long time, the last few years as a manager. She was also a teacher of Applied Psychology at the Hogeschool van Amsterdam, where she developed educational programs and was a bridge builder between different disciplines and organizations. Peggy loves to guide people, both individually and in groups. As a trainer and coach she feels strongly connected to the Double Healix model. This overarching framework of human development, enriched with movie scenes and stories, fits exactly with her own vision of life. The awareness of being embedded as an individual in a greater whole plays an important role in this. In addition to her work as a trainer and coach, Peggy is currently working as a care coordinator at Vita-Welzijn & Advies.

The common thread in Peggy’s private and work life is to facilitate people to reconcile, connect and bridge contradictions, while also accessing the deepest desire of their hearts, finding their passion and following their dreams. She often hears from people that it is her strength to listen with her heart and to ask the right questions. This makes her a trainer and coach who knows how to set the right tone to achieve the desired changes. Peggy’s personality is characterized by a down-to-earth outlook, warm involvement and loving humor. Leadership, especially female leadership, passion and meaning are central themes in her work. The mythical Journey of the Heroine is central to this. In this way, Peggy gives shape to her own passion to help women become empowered on the path of adventure, motherhood and wisdom. Peggy’s motto is: “Don’t ask what the world needs, ask what makes you come alive, and go do it, because what the world needs is people who come alive” – Howard Thurman
